Fresh Brats Done Easy

Two ways to prepare our favorite brats

You got your hot little hands on either our Flagship Brats or Beer Bratwursts.
You are probably wondering…. now what? We have you covered.
Check out two great ways to enjoy our brats below.

Flagship brats in a cast iron skillet

Flagship Brats

Our favorite way to prepare our Flagship Brats is to cook them low and slow in a frying pan over medium heat. To achieve that perfect caramelization, turn the brats every 2 minutes until evenly cooked (approximately 10 minutes). Serve over griddled onions & peppers alongside your favorite side-dishes.

Beer brats served in buns with sauerkraut and beer.

Beer Bratwurst

Beer bratwursts cooked in beer, what a great idea! Add your favorite beer (or water) to a small saucepan. Cook brats in beer over a low simmer for 10-12 minutes until cooked all the way through. Transfer cooked brats to a pre-heated grill or frying pan. Finish cooking the brats by turning a few times in the pan or over the grill to achieve that nice, golden crust that we all know & love. Serve in buns with your favorite mustard and a tangy sauerkraut for maximum YUM.
